SPINS PARTNERS WITH VITAMIN ANGELS TO SUPPORT THE NUTRITIONAL NEEDS OF CHILDREN IN BELIZE SCHAUMBURG, IL December 4, 2007 - SPINS Inc., a leading information and service provider for the Natural Products Industry, has joined Vitamin Angels, a nonprofit organization that has been providing vital nutrition globally for over 13 years and is committed to eradicating childhood blindness, due to vitamin A deficiency (VAD), by the year 2020 through their Operation 20/20 campaign. SPINS’ contributions will lead Vitamin Angels’ Belize Children’s Health Program to address the chronic malnutrition and vitamin deficiency, of 25,000 Mayan children, living in rural Belize. The Belize Program, scheduled to launch November 27, 2007, is part of Vitamin Angels Operation 20/20, a global initiative to provide basic vitamin A nutritional supplements to tens of millions of children who live in extreme poverty and are at risk of going blind or dying due to VAD.
